Beatriz is known for being the lead singer of Madredeus since 2011, one of the most internationally renowned Portuguese musical groups.
She graduated in Jazz and her voice is classified as a soprano.
Beatriz is the daughter of a poet and received training in classical music from the age of 9.
In 2011, she was awarded the New York Voices Summer Camp scholarship.
She became the lead singer of the Madredeus group in 2011, with whom she recorded two albums and has several original albums.
In 2018, she was awarded the Face of the Year award in the music area.
Beatriz has always had good reviews from critics both in the Portuguese and international press, she was chosen as the best release in September 2018 by thecritic Henning Bolte, to appear in a publication in Giornale Della Musica.
She was also the featured singer at On The Edge, a conference held in Lisbon by the European Jazz Network in 2018.
Beatriz also maintains a repertoire of Portuguese music and jazz in an individual career and in several collaborations with other musicians.
