Born in Uruguay our artist began studying guitar and music theory in 1973 at the Conservatory of Music Beethoven Montevideo (Uruguay) with Professor Blanca Silva Armas and then continuing studies in 1981 with Prof. Daniel Berruela in this conservatory.Between 1983 and 1992 he studied at the “School of Music in Montevideo” under the direction of teachers Atilio Rapat, Krishna Salinas, Eduardo Fernandez and Ramiro Agriel, obtaining a degree in guitar. During these years he studied composition also.Later, in Barcelona (1993) he graduated as Senior Lecturer guitar.

He win the 1995 Teaching Certificate at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Courses with outstanding guitarists:

– International Seminar on guitar in Los Cocos (Córdoba-Argentina) in 1987, studying with teachers Siewers María Isabel and Oscar Ohlsen.

– Course with Betho Davezac in The College of Music in Montevideo in 1987.

– Get competitive a scholarship to participate as an active student in the XV International Seminar guitar made ​​in the “Palestrina Music Faculty of Porto Alegre” (Brazil, 1988), studying with teachers Horacio Ceballos, Eduardo Miguel Angel Girolet Isaac.

– Get in a scholarship competition in the Student Association of Music Montevideo (AEMUS) in 1988.

– Win by a grant competition to participate in the “First International Seminar Guitar Montevideo” taking classes with Alvaro Pierre in 1990.

– Between 1994 and 1995 he participated in courses conducted by the Luthier School of Barcelona, ​​as active student taking classes with Jose Tomas and as a listener with David Russel and attend the course by Eduardo Falu in Study Musical Eulogio Dávalos Barcelona.

– In 1998, as a listener he attends the course by Alvaro Pierre in the School of Music Carrero in Barcelona.
